Well its WA's turn for a lockdown......

As per the Western Australian State Government announcement today, the areas of Greater Perth, Peel and the South-West will be in lockdown from 6pm Sunday 31st January until 6pm Friday 5th February.

This means that all football clubs and umpiring groups in these affected areas cannot hold training sessions, gym sessions or hold face-to-face meetings during this period. It is imperative that all football stakeholders strictly adhere to the lockdown requirements set out by the WA State Government.

Further information in relation to the lockdown can be accessed via: https://bit.ly/3ozHJJ5

As such the WAFC offices will be closed over this period. WAFC staff will be working from home across this week.

Whilst the WAFC will continue to provide updates at www.wafootball.com.au, the football community is also urged to remain informed via the following key sources of information

Nothing is more important than the health and well-being of our football participants and the wider community that we are all a part of, and this will remain at the forefront of all decision making.

Further advice to all Football stakeholders will be provided later this week.
